Of course, it’s nothing new to her – being a partygirl and businesswoman. Early Friday, Paris Hilton was at the Mondrian hotel for their relaunch party. The hotel heiress arrived with two girlfriends and was overheard saying she missed her boyfriend, Benji Madden (so where is he??). Then as night came, Paris Hilton was spotted with Lauren Conrad, Katy Perry and Eliza Dushku as Nylon magazine celebrated the launch of its TV issue. The bash, held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Tropicana Bar was also attended by “90210″ stars Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup, who are featured on the cover of the issue. The partygoers were treated to specialty cocktails by Effen Vodka, Venom Energy Drink (did Paris Hilton take a sip? probably!) and free copies of Nylon. Next up for the blonde socialite? Presenting at MTV’s VMA awards on Sunday! Go watch guys – Britney Spears is opening it! ^_^

According to reports, U.K.’s ITV has signed a deal with Lionsgate and Ish Entertainment to produce “Paris Hilton’s New Best Friend” which will air sometime in 2009 on ITV2. And so yeah, in effect, the hotel heiress next BFF will be sporting a British accent! ^_^ Format of the U.K. series will mirror that of the U.S. edition (MTV’s “Paris Hilton’s New BFF”) — contestants will be put through a wide variety of challenges and knocked off one by one as they compete to become one of the blond actress’ new pals. Paris Hilton has previously said,

“I need a best friend who is hot, who can keep up with me and, most of all, who is real and won’t be a backstabber.”

Paris Hilton will tape the show in October. In one departure from the MTV version, the U.K. show will highlight more of Hilton’s life in a documentary fashion. Ish’s Michael Hirschorn said “We’re working with producers in the U.K. who are highly familiar with the market and local sensibilities. Many of the challenges will be different because we’re in the U.K.”

Yep, this is one heiress that never gets tired of finding new ways to earn money! If there’s one thing that I really love about Paris Hilton, it’s her drive to earn of her popularity! =) At just 27 years old, she already has her own perfume range, a line of hair extensions, a footwear line, and will release a sports collection later this year. Anyway, Paris Hilton has apparently been working with Stan Lee, who co-created the Spider-Man comic books, to invent a character for a new MTV cartoon. She revealed, “Actually, I’ve created a superhero with Stan Lee, which is based on me, and we’re doing a cartoon right now with MTV.” While Paris Hilton refused to divulge any more details of the new collaboration, she did reveal her favourite superhero power. She said: “I’d love to be invisible - that would be fun!” Hmm, so will her superhero cartoon have the invisibility power?? We shall soon find out! ^_^

After a whirlwind friendship, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are back into each other’s rich arms. However, reports are saying that Nicole is a little fed up of Paris and her obsession with attention.

After having a baby with Good Charlotte vocalist Joel Madden, she moved into the California suburbs to live a calm and happy life with her baby and her baby daddy Joel. Now that Paris has hooked up with Joel’s twin brother Benjie, who lives next door to the couple, rumors are spreading that Paris has moved in with her boyfriend and it’s driving Nicole insane.

Even though Paris Hilton has denied being a lesbian, the latest news is that she will be starring in a lesbian TV show. The American celebrity and heiress has confirmed that she will be appearing in the US drama The L Word, a show depicting the lives of a group of lesbian and bisexual women in West Hollywood.

“It’s true. I have no idea what kind of character I’ll be playing, but it’s a good show,” the Sun reported Paris as having told Parade magazine.

Paris is very enthusiastic about the show, and it can be seen through the method acting training she has been doing for her role. She was spotted last month leaving a lesbian nightclub holding hands with a lady, and she was also caught making out with 24-year-old Elisha Cuthbert on another night out.
